Many businesses and organizations provide a military discount on purchases. Many restaurants offer discounts, but do not post them. If you ask, you may get a ‘yes, we do’ or you may get a ‘sorry, we don’t have a military discount’, but you will rarely get a military discount if you don’t ask. The military also has a bunch of things available to help make things cheaper or even free.

Military One Source – A website that has tons of info to service service members and their families. Through their website, you can access information and resources about your benefits.
MWR – Morale Welfare, & Recreation Programs: MWR manages and supports service members and their families through various programs from discount tickets, base gyms, events, rental equipment, and more.
